Sandy Spring units sought to lift community spirits as Sparky the Fire Dog filled in for the Easter Bunny. Since the Easter Bunny was deemed an essential employee, and was busy working, Sparky, and his socially distanced entourage, visited a few of the greater Olney/Sandy Spring community neighborhoods on Easter Sunday.  Sparky was sorry he couldn’t visit you all.  Hopefully you caught site of Sparky riding the vintage 1954 Mack pumper as he made his way through your area.
