Friday, January 16, 2026 – SSVFD Responds to Fire on Holly View Court

On Friday, January 16 at 14:24 hours, units from Sandy Spring Stations 4 and 40 and Chief 704B responded for a house fire at Holly View Ct in Olney Mill. First arriving units found a fire on the outside of the house with extension into the structure. Occupants were able to escape the structure and remove 2 of their dogs. Fire rescue was able to remove another dog. One occupant was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and one dog unfortunately succumbed to its injuries.
