Thursday, February 26, 2026 – SSVFD Responds To Personal Injury Collision with Multiple Patients and Entrapment

On Thursday, February 26, 2026 at approximately 2121 hours, Sandy Spring Station 40 and Chief 704 were alerted to a Personal Injury Collision at Georgia Ave and Olney Laytonsville Road, Box 40-06. While Enroute, the call was upgraded to an ALS2 assignment. Upon arrival, it was determined there were multiple patients and entrapment from a two vehicle collision. Additional units from Sandy Spring Station 4, Aspen Hill Station 25, Laytonsville Station 17, Gaithersburg Washington Grove Station 28, and Rockville Station 3, Battalion Chief 704, and EMS 704 responded to assist.
